Residents can stream the live, acoustic performances from Thursday 26 March.
Social distancing and self-isolation doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to give up your weekend plans completely; you just need to get a little more creative with planning those (Google) hangouts with friends.
With residents across the UAE being urged to stay home, Vida Hotels & Resorts aims to bring those weekend vibes to your living room. Launching ‘Vida Balcony Sessions’, the hotel group will be bringing live, acoustic performances from regional talent to the balconies of Vida Downtown and Vida Emirates Hills to spread the positive, community spirit across the the city.
If you’re wondering how they are able to do this when the rest of us are at home, the musicians will be performing alone as they, too, will be embracing social distancing.
Plan your Balcony Session
For those who don’t live in Emirates Hills or Downtown Dubai, you can still jump in on the action as the performances will be streamed live from the @vidahotels Instagram account. Here’s the need-to-know information for those who want to recreate those ‘night out’ feels from the comfort of their own home.
- The ‘Balcony Sessions‘ kick off tomorrow evening (Thursday 26 March)
- Ramzi will be performing at Vida Downtown from 6-7pm
- Josh McCartney will be performing at Vida Emirates Hills from 7-8pm
- Vida Hotels & Resorts will share further timings and locations with their followers
Why not order your snack supplies, pour yourself a drink and stream those balcony sessions on the TV screen? And there’s no need to get dressed up – unless you want to, of course.
